Coombe Barn Holidays Access Statement
We have three self-catering cottages located on a farm in the village of Kelston, near Bath. We have tried to provide as much information as possible in this statement, but if you have any further queries please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Access Statement:
Pre-Arrival
• We can be contacted either by telephone or by email via the link on the website
• The nearest bus stop is 500 meters from the cottages
• It is 4 miles to Bath and it takes about 10 minutes by car
• We can arrange for groceries to be delivered for arrival
• Bath spa train station is 5 miles away and accessible taxis are available from there
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• The cottages are up a single track lane 1/3 mile off the A431
• There is off road parking on the gravelled areas outside each cottage
• Badger Cottage has a concrete ramp up to the front door
• There are two 15cm steps up to the level patio area outside Owl Cottage
• Hare Cottage is accessed via a decking area at the front of the cottage. There are three 14cm steps up on to the level decking
Main Entrance & Reception
• There is a 4cm step up from the ramp in to Badger Cottage
• There is a 12cm step in to Owl Cottage
• There is a 10cm step in to Hare Cottage
• All of the front doors have 100cm openings
• Once inside all cottages have level polished wooden floors throughout.
